Joe grew up in Taiwan. He received his B.S degree from Canergie Mellon University in Biological Sciences- Bio-engineering in 2007. Joe is working on his Master degree in Bio-engineering here at Temple University. He joined the Composites Laboratory in 2011 to  work on the “Smart Needle” project for improving prostate brachytherapy. He is interested in   utilizing his graduate experience and undergraduate background in biology to apply engineering solutions in bio-medical applications.
