M.S. Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship, with a concentration in Engineering Management
Program Overview
The Master of Science in Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship (IME) is jointly delivered by Temple’s Fox School of Business and Management and the College of Engineering. The IME degree offers three concentrations: Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship, and Engineering Management. The Engineering Management concentration is specifically designed for students with a technical background who seek the relevant management skills to increase their impact inside their organizations as they look to move into leadership positions. This program will also provide its students a competitive advantage in the marketplace by preparing them to drive and manage innovation in existing companies and establish new entrepreneurial business ventures.
The Engineering Management concentration is targeted to technology graduates who hope to become leaders in research and development companies, managers in technology-rich organizations, project managers in consulting or project management companies, or successful professionals in technology or science based jobs.
Degree Requirements
The IME degree requires 30 semester hours and can be completed on either a full-time or part-time basis. Students in the Engineering Management concentration will complete 15 semester hours in the Fox School of Business and Management and 15 hours in the College of Engineering.

Admission Requirements
To apply for admission to the IME program, applicants must have a baccalaureate degree and should submit the following required credentials:
•Completed application and application fee. Click here to access the online application.
•Official GMAT/GRE scores taken within the last five years.
•For applicants whose native language is not English, the TOEFL or IELTS exam is required with the following minimum scores: 250 on the computer-based TOEFL, 600 on the paper-based TOEFL, 100 on the internet-based TOEFL, or a 7.5 on the academic version on the IELTS. Tests must have been taken within the last two years.
•Official transcripts from all postsecondary institutions attended. Applicants presenting international credentials must provide transcripts/marksheets, and degree certificates or diplomas in their original language. Additionally, applicants must provide literal translations of these academic documents by an appropriate university or government official. All transcripts/marksheets, degree certificates must be sent directly from the postsecondary institution.
•Current Resume.
•Two letters of reference.
•Two required essays.
