The College of Engineering is divided into four academic departments:
These academic departments prepare undergraduate and graduate students to face the challenges of a rapidly changing world of applied science and technology.
All undergraduate programs are accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), with engineering programs accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of ABET and the technology programs accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission (ETAC) of ABET (http://www.abet.org [1]).

The Temple Engineering Co-op Program is a great opportunity for you to obtain valuable hands-on engineering experience. Co-op students’ paid, on-the-job assignments allow you to work with a variety of engineering professionals. For more information click here.

Graduate and undergraduate students have the opportunity to engage in exciting research activities with the College of Engineering’s faculty. To learn about the research being conducted at the College of Engineering click here.
Honors students at Temple University are exceptionally talented students who enjoy course sections designed exclusively for them; the latest technology is integrated into all sections. The distinguished Honors Program faculty challenge students in courses associated with the core curriculum of the University.
The Temple University Honors Program is available to students who have completed AP or high school honors courses, rank near the top of their class, and/or score in top percentiles on the SAT or ACT. The program is also available to transfer students who complete at least 24 credits at an ABET certified college and have earned at least a 3.5 GPA.
All programs may be completed at the College of Engineering’s main campus, located in North Philadelphia. Some courses are offered at the Ambler and Ft. Washington campus. Maps and directions to these campuses are available here.
