Graduate Curriculum

All Master of Science students must complete a minimum of 30 semester hours of coursework to complete the degree requirements. Students can select the research or non-research option. Students in the thesis option must complete a total of 24 semester hours of coursework and 6 semester hours of a master’s thesis. Students intending to complete a research project must complete 27 semester hours of coursework and 3 semester hours of an independent research project.  Students pursuing the non-research option must take 30 semester hours of coursework with the permission of the relevant department.
