The Temple Advantage

Temple University’s College of Engineering is an affordable and rewarding experience offering much more than just your basic academics. As a research institution the college of engineering offers a cutting edge curriculum that is accredited by the national accreditation board, ABET.

A Learning and Research Institution

Temple engineering is committed to its students with an emphasis on education that is hands-on and personal. Our class sizes are small, and are ALL taught by experienced and dedicated faculty; not by graduate students.

Research is another reason the temple engineering experience is on the forefront of engineering education. Students have the opportunity to work closely with faculty on ground-breaking research…and unlike other schools, research is open to all our students, undergraduate and graduate alike.

Academic Programs and Co-op

Temple Engineering offers a variety of accredited degree programs, as well as a five year paid co-op option. To learn more about the degree programs offered, click here. For information about our Co-op program, click here.

Affordability

Temple University was founded on a belief that education should be available to everyone, regardless of income. Our tuition rates are low; providing quality education that is accessible to everyone. Even so, college can be a financial drain and you may need financial assistance. Information on Financial Aid is available through Student Financial Services. The college also offers a number of scholarships to eligible students.

Location and Opportunity

The College of Engineering is located in the heart of Philadelphia with easy access to all modes of public transportation. Named National Geographic Traveler’s “Next Great City”, Philadelphia is a great place to study, and a great place for your student to jump-start their engineering career.

The college has partnerships with some of the area’s leading engineering employers. Our graduates are hired by companies like: Verizon, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Pennoni Construction, NASA, PennDot, PGW, Turner Construction, Metrologic and many more.

Diverse Student Body

According to the Princeton Review, Temple is the most diverse university in the nation. Because of this great distinction, our students are prepared to enter the workforce in an emerging global economy.
