Welcome to the website of Temple University’s chapter of ASME. Our goal is to provide students with opportunities to step outside of the classroom setting and into industry, providing them with insight to the professional world.  The societal aspect of this organization is important to our section and university because we hope not only to help enhance our fellow students’ education, but remain socially active.

During this spring semester, our chapter will be hosting a Student Professional Development Conference from April 1st to 2nd for colleges within ASME’s District A.  It will be a great opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students  to network, participate in various national competitions, and develop professional skills in a social and open environment.  Engineering firms and people of industry are welcome to observe our district’s student sections in action.  For more information on this years SPDC please visit ASME’s site here ^[2].
